I will start out by saying that this hose reel is really good quality. I just think that there is a bit of a design flaw. When you put the pump handle in the side holder, it puts a bind on the hose that over time will put more wear on the hose and that could be avoided. If the guide arm was put at the bottom of the reel and the pump handle had the resting place at the top, there wouldn’t be a pinch or bind on the hose and it would follow the natural wind of the hose. Outside of that it’s a great setup that should last a long time. I just think that it would last little longer with a small design change.

. It’s perfect for a watering can and a hose nozzle or whatever you want to put on it. We have a 100 foot THICK hose on the one on the back yard, and it is very tight when completely wound up, so we have to ensure that all the water pressure is released, but that’s a minor inconvenience.
